I just wanted you to know that Roee is remembered and always will be.
I am a simple Israeli citizen who follows the news and can't help but think of davka Roee on this very sad day. I am sure it is a sad day for you not only on this day, but every day as you cope with your loss. I am a mother of 3 small children. My 9 year old daughter learned about Roee in school yesterday.............he is part of the curriculum in learning about heros in the Israeli army who fought for their country.
When we stood last night during the siren, I was about to tell my 6 year old why we are standing........... and he said: "To thank and remember the soldiers who weren't afraid to lose their life". That was Roee.
I hope you know.........I'm certain that there are many others like me, who have heard of Roee's heroism and think of him, thank him and will always remember him.............and you will never hear from them. I just wanted to take a minute ................. a minute of respect and rememberance of Roee and all the other soldiers........and let you know...........
